BioI'm female, 20ish, and currently a Sociology major but will probably be changing to International Area Studies eventually, with a minor in Japanese. I plan to do the JET program after I get my degree and before I go to graduate school, if I go at all. My dream job is to be a Japanese-English (or vice versa) translator or "localizer" for video games or anime/ manga. I'm currently unemployed/ a college student, but I plan on working for a friend of mine online, editing her yaoi-style romance novels.
I call myself the Jill-of-All-Fandoms because I'm a fan of a lot of diverse, nerdy things but a connoiseur of none. I do, however, know a lot of people who are connoiseurs and they make me feel dumb. I think I'll use this LJ to educate myself further in that regard.
